Terms of Service

The service

dunkbot lets you create AI assistants ("Bots") that chat with you, run tasks and routines, use a sandboxed computer, and, when you allow it, use connected services, email and text messages for you. AI output can be wrong: check important results before relying on them.

Your account

You must be at least 18 or the age of majority where you live. Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account, including what your Bots do with the approvals you give.

Approvals and connected services

Bots ask before sending, sharing, deleting or paying. When you approve an action, you authorize the Bot to take it on your behalf. Connected services are governed by their own terms; you can disconnect them at any time.

Text messaging program

Program: texts between a Bot's phone number and people the account holder communicates with, such as reminders, answers and updates the account holder asked their Bot to send. You agree to text only people who agreed to receive texts from you, and to honor opt-outs.

• Opt-in. A Bot texts a phone number only when the dunkbot account holder has listed that number for the Bot and approved the specific message, and only to people who agreed to receive texts from that account holder. Texting a Bot's number only triggers the routines its owner has set up; it does not start a conversation.
• Opt-out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that number; you get one confirmation and no further texts. Reply START to opt back in.
• Help. Reply HELP for help, or email support@servsys.com.
• Rates and frequency. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with how the account holder uses their Bot.
• No marketing sharing. We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers, or SMS opt-in data and consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS messaging

• Program. dunkbot texts the account owner, and the numbers the owner verifies in a Bot's Texting settings, with the replies, reminders, approval requests and task updates they asked their Bot for.
• Frequency and rates. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
• Help and opt-out. Reply HELP for help (support@servsys.com) and STOP to cancel. Reply START to resume.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Mobile numbers and opt-in data are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.

Email

Bots send email only after you approve it. You agree not to use Bots to send unsolicited bulk email or to send mail to people who have not agreed to hear from you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use dunkbot to:

• break the law, infringe others' rights, or harass, defraud or deceive anyone;
• send spam, unsolicited marketing, or texts or email to people who have not consented;
• attack, probe or overload any system, or get around our limits or security;
• create malware, or content that sexually exploits minors or promotes violence.

We may suspend Bots, phone numbers or accounts that break these rules.

Payment

Paid use is charged in credits or by plan, at the prices shown in the app. Phone numbers carry a monthly fee and texts a per-message fee. Credits are not refundable except where the law requires.

Your content

You own your content. You give us permission to process it only to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending and changes

You can stop using dunkbot and close your account at any time. We may change these terms by posting the new version here and, for material changes, telling you in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
